Hadia shared this mid-date advice from a stranger on X, starting her tweet with, "I had coffee with a guy yesterday. When he went to the bathroom, the gay guy sitting behind me passed me this note."

Many people were curious about the red flags and asked Hadia for more details about her date. She provided more context in a series of follow-up tweets.

Hadia acknowledged noticing some red flags herself but clarified that she never felt threatened or in danger. She continued the conversation to debate his viewpoints on various topics they disagreed on. "I recognized the red flags, but I wasn’t in danger, so I stayed, because of course, I had to debate him. I’m sure my guardian angel was exhausted and was like “B*TCH, LEAVE!” she wrote.

They disagreed on several topics, including the rapper Da Baby, who faced backlash for homophobic comments. "We did not see eye to eye on the Da Baby situation and he’s a Kevin Samuels fan. I had to look him up and was immediately taken aback lmao," she wrote. Kevin Samuels, a controversial figure, is criticized for his sexist views and for exploiting the vulnerabilities of Black women, according to a Yahoo News op-ed. He is infamous for rating people based on their "sexual marketplace value," a term he created, and for promoting derogatory remarks about women.

She mentioned there were additional red flags but chose not to elaborate, stating she would have "recognized them with or without the note." She appreciated the stranger's warning, adding, "But the note was greatly appreciated and added some laughs to my night." Despite her tweets, many wondered if there would be a second date. One person asked, "Did you listen? cause if anyone knows men better, it’s GAY MEN." Hadia confirmed there would be no second date.
