If you are a woman who dates men, chances are you've been involved with a guy who lived like a wild animal. I'm talking garbage on the floor, crud in the sink, sheets and pillows that haven't been washed this century. We've all been there.

And now the women of TikTok are exposing their dudes for the slobs they are in hilarious, viral videos. When it's "your turn" to go sleep at his place, you don't want to have to contemplate wearing a hazmat suit. But that's the reality for many women.

Madelyn Krueger was the first to post one of these videos. In it, she waves goodbye to her nice, neat, cozy bedroom, probably holds her breath, and then plunges into the depths of her boyfriend's rank living space.

It's truly disgusting in every sense of the word. The floors don't look like they've been washed in...ever. There are fast food containers strewn everywhere, crud lining the floor of the shower, an indeterminate blob of something nasty on the edge of the sink, and a brown-ringed toilet. In short, it's nasty.

Madelyn's video has been viewed more than three million times, probably because it's intensely relatable for almost every woman who has had to enter the home of a young man who lives alone or with roommates. Why are they so bad at cleaning?! Why are they not programmed to see and deal with mess!

Soon, several other women joined in and posted their own versions of the video. If you can believe it, some of them were actually grosser than Madelyn's.

Alexa Hendricks' video of her boyfriend's place starts with a bunch of food just...on the floor. That is not where you keep food! Ahhh! Then, it looks like there's a cookie sheet in the bathroom sink?!

There's laundry everywhere and stuff strewn all over the floor, which is not where loose items go!!! I don't know how she puts up with it.

Poor Kat's own bedroom looks like a soft, velvety dream, but when she gets to her boyfriend's, it's like a serial killer lives there. There's inexplicably a fan blowing at a plant on their outdoor steps.

Dishes are everywhere. There are approximately 879 frying pans just hanging out on the stove, which is not where they should be stored, and to top it all off, there's a squirmy bit of hair stuck to the bathroom sink. That gets a big "No thank you!" from me!

With Kari's video, the hits just keep on coming. There are beer cans everywhere in her boyfriend's apartment. And I mean everywhere. And there's literally a garbage knocked over on the lawn, spilling garbage everywhere. What is he, a raccoon?!

Several other women have participated in this new trend, like Katie, whose boyfriend has a gigantic fake marlin mounted on his wall and other taxidermied creatures sprinkled throughout the place, Natalie, whose boyfriend has beer and ranch dressing in his fridge...and that's it, and Madison, whose guy's bathroom has a whole in the middle of the bathroom sink. Just a big hole.

The moral of this story? Don't move in with a guy until you know he can clean his own space. The fact that these dudes are willing to live like this shows that they are probably blind to a lot of household needs. Make them prove themselves before you get saddled with their mess too!
