According to CDC Director Robert Redfield, if the United States undertook universal masking, then we could get the coronavirus pandemic under control in a matter of weeks.

With over 63,000 new cases yesterday, this clearly isn't happening. We know from a number of viral videos that people are refusing to wear masks while in public, with many suggesting that wearing a mask infringes on their rights.

While many people have legitimate medical reasons not to wear a mask, it's worth remembering that many of them, as well as others, are still wearing a mask to help protect themselves and others. If these people can wear a mask, so can you.
