People are concerned for the woman in Peloton's Christmas commercial

Peloton bikes have always been a divisive product. According to Wire Cutter, the exercise bikes cost roughly $3,000 for the first year and nearly $500 each year thereafter.
And their latest Christmas commercial probably isn't winning anyone over to their side.
The commercial features an already slim woman documenting her Peloton journey over a year after her husband got her the bike for Christmas. A year on, the couple sit down on the couch to watch a bizarre vlog the woman put together of her daily exercise sessions.
The whole thing is pretty weird, just check it out for yourself.
Twitter users seemed convinced that the strange diary was a cry for help from the woman.
"The only way to enjoy that Peloton ad is to think of it as the first minute of an episode of Black Mirror," one user concluded.
While another added: "Look I don’t want to be 'The Peloton Ad Guy' anymore but the newest commercial about the vlogging 116 lb woman’s YEARLONG fitness journey to becoming a 112 lb woman who says 'I didn’t realize how much this would change me' is just ri-god-damn-diculous. Come on."
"I hope the Peloton wife leaves her husband and takes their daughter and falls in love with the Mandalorian and they raise the daughter and Baby Yoda together as one happy family," one user wrote. "That’s what I hope."
That look on her face doesn't exactly help concerns.
Another imagined what the conversation may have been like: "Thank you for not giving up on me honey. I know I have a lot of work to do...I promise I’m going to fix this. You’re the best husband ever."
While others blasted the fictional husband, writing: "Nothing says 'maybe you should lose a few pounds' like gifting your already rail thin life partner a Peloton."
And another joked: "So sweet. My husband was inspired by the Peloton ad to get me a pair of pants in a child’s medium and a handwritten note that says 'Don’t f*****g touch me till you can fit into these.'"
This skit just about sums the whole thing up.
