Husband thinks wife's shapewear meant they were having a baby and people are LOLing

To the untrained eye, shapewear might look…a little odd. Something more akin to a laundry day mishap, or perhaps what a superhero hides under their civilian clothes, than anything a grown woman would wear.

This is exactly what happened to Andrea, whose husband Lewis thought the Skims she had purchased meant that a baby was on the way. As you can expect, hilarity ensued.

In a now-viral clip, Andrea is heard lightheartedly asking Lewis why he's opening her package. Meanwhile, poor Lewis looks utterly confused as he holds the teeny tiny beige bodysuit.

"What's this?" he asks, eyes beginning to well up with tears. giggling, Andrea responds, "This is mine."

Watching her husband get more emotional, Andrea asked why Lewis is crying. He replies continues, "I don't know what to say, this is for you right?" She responds, "Yes, why?"

finally, Lewis asks Andrea if she is pregnant. Understandably, Andrea is confused.

"Are you pregnant?" Lewis repeats, tears flowing. Andrea, clueless, and says "What? What do you mean am I pregnant?"

All Lewis can do is hold up the shapewear like it's some kind of definitive evidence.

"No!" Andrea then exclaims, saying that shapewear is for her, asking him if he knows wah Skims are (which are Kim Kardashian brand of sculpting shapewear).

Though Lewis seems at first can't believe it, the truth does finally dawn on him when Andrea asks, "Why do you think they have a thong?"

"I'm such an idiot," he says.

Andrea captioned the video, now at 3 million views, with "I still don't think he believes me, should I try it on to prove it?"

People couldn't help but praise Lewis for his mix-up. "He is the golden retriever type of man I want in real life😔," one viewer wrote.

Meanwhile another said, "That man wants a baby. He’d be a great dad too."
