A fly landed on Pence's head during the debate and Biden used it to fundraise

Last night's vice presidential debate was a lot less exciting than the first presidential debate. So much so that one of the highlights seems to have been a lone fly landing on Vice President Mike Pence's head. The fly landed on Pence's head as the pair were debating racial equality and police reform.
As you can see from the video below, the fly was on Pence's head for over two minutes before it decided to fly away. As you might expect, those two minutes were more than enough to see the fly start trending on Twitter.
"The Saturday Night Live writer’s room when the fly landed on pence’s head," one user joked.
While another user added: "I can't!! Just as Mike Pence is denying the reality of systemic racism, a fly lands on his head."
One user joked: "The fly on Pence’s head knowing it’s about to be the only thing Twitter talks about."
However, the response by Vice President Joe Biden's campaign may have been the most creative. They wasted no time in posting a photo of Biden equipped with a fly swatter to their social media accounts. "Pitch in $5 to help this campaign fly," the caption alongside the image read.
Social media users clearly found the post hilarious, with the tweet attracting over 191,000 retweets and 718,000 likes as of the time of writing.
