Claudia Conway, the 15-year-old daughter of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway and Trump critic George Conway, announced on Monday that her parents are "forcing" her to delete her social media accounts.

"My parents are forcing me to delete social media so this is my last tweet," the teenager wrote on Twitter. "Apparently, I don’t have a platform! It’s fake! Love you all so much. Keep fighting."

Claudia Conway has gained hundreds of thousands of followers after her anti-Trump TikToks, and social media posts went viral. Following Claudia's announcement, many of the posts appear to have been deleted, though some remain.

Claudia has also since posted a series of TikTok videos in which she is holding a Trump campaign sign, which she claims to have found in her mother's closet, writing that she is "cured."

During an interview with Insider back in June, Claudia said that her mother had asked her to delete the videos, but that she "respectfully declined" to do so.

"I'm not going to because I think I have a right to my own freedom of speech. If she works for Trump, she works for Trump," she said, noting that her mother was just doing her job.

Claudia's father, George Conway, appeared to be more supportive of the posts.

"My dad thinks it's awesome that I'm speaking for myself and expressing my views," she said.

He did, however, ask members of the press to stop contacting his daughter.

Claudia told Insider that she identified as liberal and a member of the political left, in sharp contrast with her parents.

"I'm still a kid, of course," she said. "I took the time to educate myself and took the time to branch out and be exposed to other sides and other biases and whatnot."

Unsurprisingly, the odd family dynamic can cause some issues. Kellyanne Conway is a Trump advisor, while George Conway is the founder of The Lincoln Project, a staunchly anti-Trump group of Republicans.

"We do get into arguments a lot — I'm not going to lie," Claudia told Insider. "My mom is my best friend but we do fight all the time over politics, and I'm always shut down by my entire family."

"I respect everyone's views," Conway added. "For me, there's a certain threshold, I think. Everyone in my family are (sic) Trump supporters except for my Dad and I."

She went on to explain that she started posting anti-Trump posts to show people that she didn't have the same beliefs as her mother.

"Growing up when your mom is Kellyanne Conway, it's really really hard to disassociate yourself with that image because people look at me and are like 'oh, that's Kellyanne Conway's daughter,' she must love Trump. In reality, I really don't," she said.

Unsurprisingly, some people weren't very happy to learn that Claudia's posts might stop.

"You should sue for emancipation," one user wrote. "No judge would deny you. You are under way to much pressure. No offense but that is one weird family situation you got going on."

Others think that Claudia's parents made the move to protect their daughter.

One user explained: "She’s 15. Her parents have her safety and best interest in mind. I hate to say, I agree with them.  Your parents aren’t your friends at 15, it’s because they love you. Focus on your friends. Social Media is a cesspool of garbage. Life is better without it. Wish you luck."
